I heard this old song and it jumped out at me saying "that is how we freyas feel...if only we would be so honored and adored!"

Here it is from the musical Camelot so a medieval theme.

Where are the simple joys of maidenhood?

Where's the knight pining so for me
He leaps to death in woe for me?

I tried to rescue a freya in the woods once, but it turned out to be meri and I had to have her rescue me from all of the monsters...
