All monsters have %resistances! Will the resistance % also reduce the damage that the pet will deal? ?

Correct on magic damage being limited to mage/fairy players. It would be interesting if some mobs would have magic damage but that would require some very big changes to the game mechanics and I don't think there is a real great benefit.
