House Ownership

Post by Bladelord »

Apologies in advance if this has ever been asked before :o . I’m a new(ish) player and I recently learned of how owning a private house works. I’m thinking of maybe getting one at some point in the future, but I was wondering about a couple of things.

My questions are;

* Isn’t there a finite number of properties that can be purchased? What happens if every building and object is owned? Are new players unable to get a house?

* Are buildings permanently owned even if their owner has quit the game? Or are they freed up once someone hasn’t logged in for a long time, like a couple of years or more?

Again, hopefully this isn’t a common question lol.

Houses don't just have to be houses. They can be rocks and trees, for example. Pretty much anything without animation, although there are certain locations where houses are not allowed.

Houses remain in the name of their owner. Players who haven't logged in for a couple of years may do so tomorrow.

The idea of having a treehouse or keeping a stash under a rock is pretty funny. I might need to pick one out lol

Thanks for the response! :)

My house is a rock and has served me well impervious to the elements and fire!

No windows though to open and the smell from the pets gets strong sometimes. :lol:

Hmmm... one of my houses is a pit of lava, so I guess that's impervious to fire as well!
