Let mages wear some kind of trousers. Like some special trousers for mages that adds some armor and mana.

This dignity is allowed them at level 1500. I think pants is the word you wanted panties are a term for women's under clothing!

My daughter wondered about that as well when she started as a fairy. It seemed odd telling a 7-year old that there were no pants available...

Well, try explaining to a kid when the character on screen definitely appears to have more clothes than on the backpack screen...
