Yes, after building a Wonder of the World, levels, skills, buildings and other progress are reset to zero. The only thing that remains forever is the name of your account and the victory counter on it. Also, if you die in this game, all your levels, skills and other progress (except house) will be reset.
But you can also find advantages in this.
