Forgotten Tales

I was doing a task to kill J. Rogue, I went to the ghost mage, I gave him dust and gold, then he summoned him, but I am at a high level, so my companions killed him and im not complete quest the task, Can I ask for spawn him or any help

I'd think this is solved for you by now, but if you fail to kill J Rogue after summoning him, you can try again the next day. Same with the other bosses there that get summoned.
