Is this a bug

I am not sure if this is a bug or an intended feature but i have a quest "talk to the king"
I got the medal, showed it to the guard at the door then i entered to kings chamber after a few steps it threw me out of the room before i can speak to king. Now i can not enter the room because there is no blue ? Above the guard.
Am i doing something wrong, is this how this quest goes
Can someone shine some light on me i am a little confused

I think you may need the medal to enter that room each time.

Make a picture where you're stuck at, if I understood right you on map where he is but can't go up, try going with tap to move and tap up or walking diagonally. If doesn't works or that is not the case make a picture im sure someone will find out what the problem is

Check you're bag for Courage medal, if you do have it you have to do another quest before this one. If you don't have medal get it and try again.

I have medal in my inventory, i entered room once before.
Maybe you are right, i need to do some other quests before entering again
Need to start grinding other quests i guess

Either i am searching the king in the wrong room or the quest is bugged for me.
I did bunch of other quests in the hollow kingdom but i still can not enter to the throne room
Maybe game is trying to say "thank you mario but the king is in another castle" to me who knows
