Riding bats

I’ve been trying to find the bats under Blitzbee Island to train with so that I can ride them, and can’t find them. I’ve been all over the tunnels on the island several times and have never seen any bats, or the weird looking blob icon in the quest description anywhere. Can someone tell me what I’m doing wrong?

Try next to the shop on the surface.

Go to map 1.3, find the cave in the up-right corner, near to a shop-bar.... its not an island, its a peninsula

I assume you don't mean the bat next to the store. It just tells me I'm not qualified to ride it. I don't see anything else I can tap on...

The entrance is near the lion and building on the top right of 1.3.
Notice the cave/mine like entrance in the top left of the screenshot.

I would like to say something about this situation. At the moment there are 2 islands in the game with the same name. 1.3 and -1.-3. I think it is difficult for new players to navigate in such conditions.

There is blitzbee island and lightning blitzbee island. The names are very similar, but not the same. That's why I gave the wrong advice above (well, that's my excuse anyway haha).

It seems like the quest says one name

Thanks! I was not aware that I was in the wrong island. The naming is definitely confusing.

lightning blitzbee is not an island, its a peninsula, you must search the definition of island and peninsula to understand the difference
