didnt pick up the mushrooms - quest is gone!

Hi there. I'm not playing the mmoprg - just the normal game.
I picked up some mushrooms and thrown them away cause i had no place in my bag.
But now i have the quest to collect them but there aren't enough of them there. I just need one more.
Any Idea what can i do?
