Forgotten Tales 9 beta version released!

I have been working for the last months on a huge rewriting of the client and server code.
For over a month, the trusted testers were testing the alpha version of the new client and server.
I would like to thank the following testers:
OantoskaO
FilipFT
DAVE_manda
justj99
Akkilles
kyousuke
GR10#
A lot of bugs were fixed. The first test version was practically not playable. Now I hope the biggest bugs are fixed.
Now it is time to open tests for anyone who is interested in testing a new version. The Android version was released first. iOS and AppGallery versions will be updated later.

The new version will be visible on the market in a few hours when Google updates it.
Most changes are internal changes in client and server code. I had to tidy up the code. These changes were needed to reduce the number of bugs, simplify adding new changes and improve performance.
The new server code is not compatible with FT8. That's why I first released a game client which is capable of connecting to new and old server code.
Soon I will update the test server with the new code and FT9 will be required to connect to it. Later, when most players update their game client to the latest version, I will update the main server and updating the client to FT9 will be mandatory.
The new client renders maps in a different way than the old version. Some maps can look different. The maps will be adjusted to look correct on FT9, but first, the main server must be updated because it is not possible to render these maps correct on both FT8 and FT9. Map editors will be able to create more varied maps with FT9. There are new possibilities in the map editor.
Walking between maps should be much faster now. Another change is that the new server sends to the client only objects around the player (before everything was sent). It will be possible to create much bigger maps.
These changes require a new server, so you will not see them until I update it. In the next few days, the test server will be updated with new code so you can see these changes there.
I am waiting for your feedback!
