Thanks for the veggies!

Thank you so much for providing vegetables to players so they could complete all the Halloween quests!!
I am sure it made many players glad not sad.
Will this service be provided today? I have two accounts I'd like to do that are stuck. Mama always said there would be a day I wanted vegetables!
If not they are lesser accts. Again thanks for helping so many players yesterday!

I've placed a mushroom monster, a low-level monster that will drop vegetables, next to the portals leading to the Halloween event.
You can use this temporary solution until the Halloween event ends. It's just a workaround for now, until we can properly fix the issue for next year.
As mentioned, the monster will drop these vegetables at a low rate, so you can continue working on your Halloween quests as usual.

I'll be removing the temporary vegetable drops, as there seems to have been a misunderstanding. I received a report claiming that this was a bug, but it turned out that it wasn't a bug after all. Therefore, players will be able to gather vegetables just as they normally would.

It appears if getting veggies was blocked in previous years it remained so now. It was these accounts that could not trade bread for veggies. New accounts that never did event in previous years could do the quest as written. All my accounts that could not get veggies had done it before.
So the veggies mushrooms were needed or a GM to give them to those accounts. The fact all the other quests worked but not this if not a bug...I am not sure what to call it.
In any case I am still thankful for the fine efforts to make this a fun event!
