Forgotten Tales

So Sunday morning AYC tells me about party at 9pm GMT. Later that night at 8.45 he says it'd canceled... A while later I see ghost and ghost tells me it wasn't canceled. So AYC lied to me.. just this second I see gold mage and ask to speak to him. And I get no reply. I've asked dozens of questions to mods and only 10% have been answered. I don't understand a mods purpose and i think mods should be put through a test of knowledge before becoming one. In my opinion mods don't need to be on the game. Anyone any similar stories?

You didn't get a reply from me because I was busy doing something else at the moment and I therefore couldn't reply on chat. I evens said so in that later but you apparently didn't saw that since your mentioning it here.

I don't know if there was suppose to be an event at the time you mention. It might have been and it might have been canceled. That is not AYC responsibility to know that. The fact that there was an event in the end anyway wasn't his doing but simply other mods who took the opportunity and made one anyway.

For the 10% answers you have gotten on forum we get 100% requests so please bare with us if we are not able to answer you.

Please tell me what you think the mods purpose in the game is. It would be interesting to know since I am not I tiredly sure that we share the same opinion on this.

Players are closely watched and tested before becoming mods.

I'll tell you without going into details that this game would properly have looked quite different without assistance from the mods.

I've asked many questions about items and got a "don't know" reply.
So there was an event and ayc told me it was cancelled. Thanks.
I thought a mods job was to answer noob questions like mine and be honest.

And if people want to start hating me for this post so be it. I'd rather speak my mind than say nothing at all because I'm sure there's more than just me who think like this but are too afraid to say anything.

People are allowed to debate and voice their opinion. If not this forum would have no purpes.

Keep in mind that mods do not have the job of helping others. That is something we do because we are true gamers, and helping others comes with the passion for playing. Certainly, we are there to answer questions and provide assistance where needed, but the act of helping another player is a job for the gamer - not the mod. However, we will help people just because we want to, and we like doing so.

Just taking someone around the map helping does not make a mod. That is a true gamer, and one that makes the game so much better. We all thank those that help each other.

Mods are supervisors installed into the game to ensure all of the rules are being kept, which includes bugs, chat, and other aspects of the game. Please keep this in mind when applying.



If you got the answer "I don't know it might simply be because the mod you asked didn't knew the answer. Personally I don't remember what the blue mask is called. I could look it up but that would take time and leave even more unanswered questions in the game chat so if I was asked I might just answer the same thing to safe some time and I wouldn't even be lying...

as gold mage already mentioned, mods are there to ensure that the game rules are followed. not to answer questions though it would be great if they could and they will always if they have time for it.

to solve your problem, robin, i recommend: use this forum! here are many players helping you! and also we mods check it multiple times per day. so here u will get your answer. not instantly as in the game, but therefor u get a correct answer.

Dont so quickly jump to conclusions

The blue mask is called Sir. Seriously, man; the mods don't know all. They really don't have to host spawn parties, and they can't keep track of everything. Ask a player what the mask is.

The level-150 purple bluish mask is called Mystic Mask.

Yes well like i said I'm a noob and been playing less than a month. And ayc should not of told me it was cancelled when it wasnt. Right just leave it here then ans thanks for thw help
