I hear what you are saying. I died 3 times. Twice was from bad lag.
The other time didn't even know what I was killing. Just unloaded on a mystery. I lost more earned experience than I gained. I look at it as "I tried, no winning ticket" yeah it sucked but I guess it could of been worse. I AM trying for a better day. Hope your day gets brighter!! smiles to you !!9

I do apologize if you didn't enjoy yourself at the party. the last time I hosted a party was before the mechanics were tweaked and that had two other mods helping. this one most of it I do it all by myself and not sure how fine-tuned the mechanics were to the monsters I was spawning. I don't think it was a total failure but I'm hoping the next one turns out better!

Well, the party was fun, a good get together, had a good chat, but as far as its utilitarian aspect is concerned, the party was not that rewarding. Never had so many players fallen in the battle ground, as had fallen in this spawn party. The xp was out of balance with the state of monsters. The monsters were so difficult to tank, even Lucifer would have died many times. In the last spawn party, I got many levels, but here, I got some 3m, if I am not wrong. No motivation, no xp, no drop, and did not get a wink all the night.

However, we blame the mechanics, not Cleo for this; and, at the same time, hope better for the future.

P.S: It was fun though

Thx Cleo for hosting this, though there was no benefit for my chars because of two reasons:

1. Due to my chars' low level (all below 200) I died almost at once. No XP. No drops. No problem whatsoever.

2. I live in Germany, so the starting time for me was 4 AM. Due to the fact that I had a day full of hard work behind me and my "old age" (I don't repeat how old I am, but you can find it on forum), I was awfully tired and didn't rejoin after first death.

Will you or any other mod run a spawn party once in a while for OUR time zone, please?

BRING BACK THE OLD SPAWN PARTYS

With the lag I get I can't hold er steady at 59fps, this lag kills me most of the time. I can only do smaller spawn parties with thhe lag I get :/

I would not say the party was a bust. It was a successful social gathering and a learning experience.

Cleo, thank you very much for the effort, everyone was looking forward to the party, and there was a good turnout of people there. Many were there long before and enjoyed a good chat. And the experience was fun, hampered only by problems not of your doing.

The lag issues many experienced cannot be blamed on Cleo. Perhaps the setup of the server needs to be looked at or something, idk. Hopefully, it can be adjusted so this does not happen in the future.

Really, we should all be greatful for a mod who puts forth the effort to show us a good time. Thank you Cleo, and thank you DaHobbit for joining in. I look forward to the next event, as I know it will be good!

Speaking of greed didn't you love how dka camped til the bosses were pretty much dead than would start killing? Finger to them.. prob wouldn't even give one swamp club to a new player if he needed great support game receives from them
