Lvl 75 iron helmet (non clan crafting item) 20% chance, 10 iron ingots required to attempt.
Lvl 125 steel helmet (clan crafting item) 10% chance, 10 steel ingots required to attempt.

I figure non clan needs more craftables and we all know we need items for inbetween lvl 50-100 and lvl 100-150 i hope combatant can implement these items for us as i would surely enjoy them much and make many to sell to people at a fair price in FT! And as for the stats on these items well, i was thinking.
Iron - 75 armor/22 strength
Steel - 125 armor/38 strength

I do believe the stats make since but if not change them to where they should be. ^_^ and as for what they look like well maybe have it look like a dark grey odin's for iron and i light silver odin's for steel not my place to determine what they look like. I'm sure creator can handle that better :-) i hope you like and hope for much support on this idea for i would absolutely love it

I like it. I am a supporter for filling out the gear for each level interval!

Thanks mad, with these two items, our players of FT will have more complete sets of armor instead of using a lvl 100 helm at lvl 140, or even a level 50 mask at level 90

A very good idea. The whole crafting needs a major overhauling and definitely more gear both craftable and non :)

Agreed ... I gave up on crafting very quickly. Great idea but needs tweaking. The time it takes is a huge issue.

Thanks Leone but if you ask me, the patience needed to craft these items is what makes them so great ^_^ if all items were 100% they would have no value seeing everybody would be able to make them instantly i have made lots of items drafting iron plates, steel plates, even one gold plate (for gold i had help from a buddy) i understand the patience needed. Maybe slightly add a better chance to items like gold plate and mithril kite shield but other than that i don't mind what it takes to succeed at crafting :D

The time involved in crafting is painful... but jim makes a good point about value. I think the worst thing about time in crafting is if you fail, you have essentially wasted all that time.

I am a big fan of both ideas to gain experience while mining/crafting, and that crafting odds increase with continued failures. These ideas were posted elsewhere several times...
