You have been playing for five years and only have as character references two (instead of the required three) people you ave known for a very short time, one of them that you apparently met that day?

Ya I know, I played the game for like 5 or six months back in the day, and i quit because I was tired of waiting around for a response on my last application for gm. I only started playing again 2 or 3 weeks ago, so everyone I knew from before quit playing. I can give u my old list, its just that I figured it would have done me no good, they all quit as far i know.

No other accounts pertaining to FT.
I just started playing today.
I like helping out new players and I've game tested various other games.
I have experience communicating in French, Spanish and English. English being my first language. Also, I am quite active in various gaming communities and a very flexible work schedule.
I've never received disciplinary actions of any kind in any games.
I have a great willingness to help and people skills. In my real life work life professionalism is important and I will convey this online as well.
I've read the rules and intend to follow them.
Wolf.
Currently I have no in game references.
I am a Canadian citizen and reside within the Atlantic standard timezone.
I speak English as a first language with a working understanding and ability to communicate in French and Spanish. I may be a little rusty right now as its been a few years since I spoke either.
I am 33 years of age.
Ty for reading,
Cheers

There is no set amount of gameplay experience required for a GM application, but hours or maybe minutes of experience may be somewhat extreme. Do you feel that a desire to be helpful adequately offsets that lack of experience and a related inability for anyone to be a character reference?

Don't get me wrong, helpful players are certainly welcome and appreciated in the game.

I agree with this. Also, to expand upon SellSword's point about a character reference a little- as this is your first day of playing for obvious reasons you cannot provide any character references to support your application.

This is a key part of the process as the integrity (or otherwise) of referees can have a bearing on a player's application for GM.

Having said that, I applaud you for wanting to help players from day one.

Hi Piney666 (^.^)/
first of all Welcome to FT world, and thank you for applying for a GM position.
In order to process your application, you need to fill a formal GM application form, you can see some examples on the previous posts made from other applicants, Also follow the links provided, there's very impotant information that you need to read and please answer all the questions properly.
Beig a GM could be hard ,but it could be enjoyable if you really like to help players, and this job requere a HUGE responsability .
As a formal GM i'd like to give you an advice, it is true that you don't need X amount of experiance to aply for a GM position but i recommend you to get little bit more experience, play the game and enjoy it, also read the game rules, learn little bit about how the game works, listen to the players like what they need or how to help them. Deffenely having or talking different languages is a BIG + for a GM applicant because you could help more the FT comunity.
