targeting screw up

Whenever I'm trying to target someone that attacks me I can't target the player. I hit the button but nothing happens and then they get away. I'm really getting mad
try another zoom factor maybe. that helps me with the questionmarks above the quest guys too.
otherwise, try delete/reinstall the game. never heard about a bug here.
