FT rewards people for preying on those a lot weaker then them. Supposedly rare items are easy to get for a high lvl. Mage. If his altt needs a mysticmask. Justkill a few lvl 150-200 who has one. Kill in one or two hits. They won't even know what happened.
Result is that many rare items end up with the high lvl characters and their (many) Alts.

I would propose that items only drop if the attacker is not too much higher in lvl. Might be a number like 200 lvls or maybe a percentage.

Another idea is only to drop items appropriate too the class. So a mage can't farm swamp helms for alt.

I like the idea of level difference affecting drop rates.. i.e. the higher the difference, the less chance of drop.

I don't know if it should be "never" though.

Just remeber DOOM gives 80% gear back ;}

If it goes one way it should go the other aswell. A lvl 180 should rarely get a drop off a lvl 90 and a bunch of lvl 90's ganking that 180 should also rarely get a drop.

If something like this is put in. Maybe put in to encourage more lvl appropriate pvp.

Make another drop rate for gear,for example
30 gear - 75%
0-30 - 95%
30-50 - 50%
50-100 - 30%
100-150 - 25%
150-200 - 10%

Favors higher lvls too much. Do it by level range. Same lvl. Within normal pvp restriction. 20 lvls differejce, 40, 60, 80 ,100 etc
