Observations of pvp and a suggestion

I know everyone knows this. People even seem to complain about it. For the last hour and a half Ive been watching the same people fight and it was just painful.

Attacking, logging, attacking, logging. We all know about it and how its used. Its even a valid griefing and trolling method. Some are famous for it.

Im suggesting a kill counter/timer that could do two things. The person being attacked has a one hour period to kill the person who attacked him. Even if the attacker logs out then logs in again. If their in a clan and the person is unclanned this should extend to everyone with the same clan tag.

This would eliminate attack-logging. It stops them abusing the mechanics of pvp and the game. It also means in the scenario i watched that half the clan present could do something about it.

It should be dangerous to attavk a clan, a group of affiliated people working towards a goal or similar. It shouldnt be possible to troll/grief/escape your actions juat by logging out and in again. This works for nonclanned aswell.

What I saw was a nonclanned character attacking the same clanned guy over and over. He was more than 3 levels higher than his attacker. His attacker then logged and repeated. It seems to be a topic brushed under the rug so to speak so lets discuss?

Have you read the "after 4.0" thread? It's ideas from MANY different people gathered over the last year or so... your idea is similar to my old "enemies list" idea, which I really like. Better than that though (IMO) is just making the person an outlaw immediately... it makes perfect sense, and ends a LOT of the various game abuses...what do your think?

Blitzcraig and I are compiling all ideas, and hoping to approach the staff and Compbatant with them to determine the best way to improve these parts of the game.

Most of these ideas have been brought up before, but I am always greatful for more input. As blitz suggested, the After 4.0 thread has a good outline on this, and I would much like your input on that, as you seem to have the right thoughts on this.

Obviously, not everything can be done at once, so include how you would prioritize the updates.

In the meantime, I am moving this thread to suggestions; I think it is better suited there.
