I've spent like 80m on the gold plate alter all 4 times fail... something isn't right here... pos alter...

I can't finish 2 of the quests. Yellow crystal quest and book from forester to kedington.

Yes, the altars success depend on completion of older quests. Go back, and finish the quests you haven't done. I went and did this before I took on the new quest.. and got rewarded at all the altars.

let me give you an example James I finished all my quest on my Archer (Tuvok)and had full success on all 4 alters. Its 4 old quest that determine your success rate at the altar it's a secret I can't tell you which 4. but since you've already attempted it I'm not even sure it would make a difference now if you finish the old quests.
