I'd like to ask others for an opinion

Is "Sodomizer" a profane name? some people have told me yes and others say no. To me it only describes an act and isn't really a "bad" name for a character. If anyone disagrees please let me know because I really want to name my new archer this but want to be justified in doing so.

I have not discussed this with the team, but my vote would be to rename that account...I find it inappropriate and believe many would find it offensive - thx for checking when you weren't sure (but next time maybe just PM a mod or admin please
)

Username Language
There is no tolerance for offensive usernames. Offensive usernames are akin to offensive language defined above, in "Chat Language".
The staff decides if they want to inform the user about his offensive name and give him a chance to rename it.

Any offensively named players are jailed on sight.
If you see one, please report him, and we can jail him asap.

I'm sorry. It's Saturday night where I live ( I know I have no life) and I saw this post and I had to read it a couple of times through...because it's THAT good.
