RPG Suggestions/Rant From New Player

Enjoying the game pretty much. Currently grinding through level 30's. But there are a few issues making FT very fruatrating.

1) Healing Pots - they are supposed to heal the lowest hp in the party. They don't. My best guess is that they are healing whomever took damage last. Burning through 6 pots to heal an archer in the red when the rest of the party is green is ANNOYING!! Shouldn't be a big coding job to modify pot behavior.

2) Party mechanics - why even have them selectable? You cannot manage them properly with the current UI. Try to select a single character and you are more likely to move the entire group or select a target. Either way, you've now repositioned the party somewhere you didn't want them. This will take a lot of coding, but a major UI change is in order.

Suggestion - reduce the size of the playable area and move the command buttons (all of them) off of the map. Basically, create a small, black border around the edge of the screen and move buttons onto the border. That way, you can click on any edge of the map without commanding the interface to save the game or expand/shrink the map without accidentally moving the party to the NW.

With that accomplished, you could have party member icons available to select/deselect. Want 2 members to fall back? Select them and fall back. Want to heal a specific member? Select him and use pot. If entire group is selected, whomever needs it the most gets it.

Lot of coding? Yes. Worth it? Definitely.

3) Fleeing/Traveling - party needs to be able to continuously move in one direction without repeatedly clicking on the map. If fleeing from spawn, party should not be turning around to engage spawn evry few steps.

Thanks for reading

You like what, precisely? Pots that don't work like they're supposed to? Party members running where you don't want them to? Trying to move offscreen but clicking the save icon instead?

Seriously?

So when you pot, you always heal the lowest hp party member?

And when you are clearing a mob, you have no problem selecting specific characters to move?

And you never try to select a target in a mob and end up sending the whole group to that location instead of actually targeting the creature?

I'm playing on a LG Spectrum phone. Not the biggest screen. What device are you playing on?

I have to agree with Bunzi to a certain extent. I use a Samsung Galaxy Note 3, which has a large screen and a stylus, and while the stylus does allow for some more precise selection, I still sometimes find myself selecting the wrong character or missing entirely. I also experienced the healing pot issue he mentioned as well, although I rarely use them at this point. I think all of his suggestions have merit.

Thanks for that. I was starting to think either my game was bugged, or I was.
