FT Account name:MadMagus
Time of bug: a few minutes ago
Where: ghost archers
What: my pet died.. my screen filled with items. Opening my backpack, it appears completely empty. However, I cannot pick up items; backpack is full it says.
Why: my backpack shows empty but isn't.
Other comments: I think I last opened backpack #2.. so, when I open my pack, its still displaying backpack #2 (as empty).. but, backpack #1 is full. I filled both packs before venturing forward. The "switch pack" button is gone.
ALSO there is another issue. Before leaving the shop.. I bought a few 50 hats and an odins helm.. I bet they are dropped, but, only 16 images are shown.. so, how can I pick them up?

Update: the problem seemed to be solved by logging out/in.
I walked an alt down, and managed to save all my stuff. The drops that aren't shown on screen will show up once you can pick some things up.
Question: does logging out and in reset the timer for dropped items? It sure seemed so...

the exact same thing happened to me when I lost my spider during a spawn party(Arachnia

)got a little worried have some expensive items. I ended up logging off all the way to shop that way I didn't lose my items. Yes it seems all you have to do is log off to a shop and make room then pick up items. I have a feeling that you could go clear across the whole entire ft map with items on your screen if you strategically log

I haven't tested it, but it seemed to me that changing maps had the same effect... either way I think it's great we don't lose items :p
Question: if your pet dies and you have floating items, what happens if you get a new pet?

yes but it's not IMO a bug you just have to strategically log to get your good items back. I wouldn't say it's a bug technically....I would just call it game mechanics of the new pet bag.

Ive had that happen before but thats not my issue what happened to me is my pet died i watched as his hp went from red to nothing I seen my items on the screen I went to empty some items out of my pack to get my gear but it despawned right when I exited backpack it was like I seen all my items and in a blink they were gone. My mana pots and gear was only on the screen for like 20 seconds then vanished. It gave me time to take items out of my pack and then watch my specter wand alaters hat and lvl 50 hat vanish. Idk if its a bug or not maybe a small glitch in game I have no idea but I hope my gear can be gotten back like I said my staff me and my clan mates worked hard to get it for me and my hats cost me a lot of gold n time earning that gold.

My original bug report is a display bug. To test, try this:
Get a pet, open your backpack and look at page 2 (pet's backpack). Let your pet die (probably on same map).. when you open your pack, it will show as empty, even if it isn't.
Snale's bug is his dropped items disappeared too quickly. (figures; usually they stay too long, unless you actually want them to stay on screen)
