Which is better: Knight or Mage?

In my opinion, the knight is better (after 4.0 update). Before 4.0 the Mage was better because of the Spells ( they are not divided by enemy count).
Hm... I don't know: for sure it is a good challenge now. But I still find the healing and occasionally the slow spell more useful than the knight, that is still subjected to deal with enemy's armor and dexterity. The mage still rules especially when fighting one or few enemies at time and at high levels it is not uncommon to isolate a red cyclop (or stronger) before starting the fight.
Anyway, all characters become equally weaker when you start to face Red Cyclop and stuff because the enemy has too much damage skill and HPs and your party will always be inferior, no matter what: blue knights have been the last kind of enemy that I have been to swarm and the same can't be done with Red Cyclops or above.
