my pets disappeared

I'm almost positive that they didn't die, I logged off with a green spider and a wolf on the 100g shop map and when I logged back on they were gone. I know they didn't die because I had 54 pots on me and when I logged on the game had somehow managed to fit all my pots in one bag so instead of the pots dropping like they do when a pet dies they stayed and my pets were just gone. I also took some screen shots.
