im getting asked a lot why i hate mages, just because i consider them overpowered with the slow spell.

I like to point out that that i do not hate mages.
I play 3 different mages, 3 different atchers, a freya and a swordsman.
I level a mage at least once in 3 days, the same as an archer. only the sword i do not use much.

but the forum us limited to one account per email adress so all my comments are posted as rearrow. not making another email account. rememberibg all passwords is hard enough.

The slow spell is the only real defense mages have. Thay have LOW arm AND LOW dex...... tkae that away and mages are sitting ducks....... slow isn't overpowered. It actually maintains the balance you seek.

Just to add ur post moonraker, too mages get strong spells need lot mana and if u make lot mana u will has low hp

WTF if mages feel weakness while pvp they can slow andescape why not other characters!! if they dont want death and want to escape mages slow them!!

unslow would be fine but mages got continuously ability of slowing melees can stun continuously throwing items one by one no waiting time like skill required but mages mana regenerate and wont over.. knife/axe/fish will be over finally
wat about archers!!
they can freeze only once and need waiting for skill recovery
AND
if put nice stats being smart as ppl say..
if double skill used, mages slow and run!!
if freeze skill used so that mages wont run(most of time they have unfreezes), it'll do less dmg and mages will fight and probably win bcz opponent using silly freeze skill so doing less dmg
it happens many times.. if we use dmg doing skill then mage runs and if use freezing like silly skill, then mage
attacks back and wins!! wat to do in pvp then?
mages kill opponent or run ..death less times

others just in slow motion(slowed) see running mages lol
or just die ...rarely can escape
it's clearly imbalance
I'M NOT SAYING REMOVING SLOW SPELL WILL BE SOLUTION ..BUT UNSLOW OR SOMETHING MORE BETTER REQUIRED

One word blaze.. Tactics. Mages can be killed quite easily.. IF you use TACTICS. In any fantasy world the mages always have some advantage with spells BUT melee if smart has their own advantages ....

ok...then we set championship matches..
fire ice arena in 100g house (some collesuem or something lol i dunno spelling)

Melee vs mage...
condition- both smart, same lvl , no running out of arena (obviously can run inside arena)
other conditions u set
see what smart melee can do..
but smart mage will use(i think all mages will do same..no one is dumb) some mana in green spell, some in healing and rest something in slowing... and will wait mana recover..running inside the arena and poor opponent will finally die bcz no healing... no pets and if both have 20 slots..20 unfreezes of mage will cancel 20knives/axe/fish
then melee is 00 he cant do anything he cant even touch mage running mage

The loser has to refund the winner the 100 gp entrance fee

not true. u got heal spell. so u attack, run heal. manna regenerates so basicly u got unlimited pots.
