On the blitzbee island shop (bottom left corner map). Idk if its available on some other shop.

but as it is a mixture, shouldn't it be possible to mix one? ))
i mean crafting, of course

No, mixtures are crafting ingredients, but you cant craft mixtures.

Ok - an update. I now have the ring of protection using up space in my backpack but can't do anything with it. Astanius does not have a question mark above his head - which, when looking at other posts means that I have to complete some earlier quests before I can do anything about this one.

Could somebody let me know exactly which quests are needed in order to carry on with this quest? Thanks.

Keep it, you will need it in the end of storyline. Ascanius no talk to you because u didnt finish quest required. Thats always the only reason
