If such gear is added, I honestly think the perks/stat gain of having such gear should only give small number gains, and mages as a class are always going to be weak against physical attacks, so maybe a limit of say no more than 5 points to ARM gained. But could posibly add a few more points to STR so that the basic non mana attack will avtually do damage lol.

Not correct. Other classes will have to add more DEX still

really? i got a mage lvl 333. his DEX is 65 now. 63 of which are added by the gear.
how much DEX do you think an equal level non-mage would have? as DEX deals in absolutes, not relatives, it won't matter much in PvP, only in PvM.

High mages use dex as well
Its very useful for lvl up, as a chance to tank high lvl mobs, when others are too weak for you. Lets look at lvl 500 as example. So if guy got 356 dex for worm, plus dex from pants(high lvl pants, i dont think its dex +5 +10 xD ) - archer lvl 500 usually has about 400-500 dex. If he got HighSTR stats he wont be able to attack that mage so easy :/

Addidion to any stat will add more power to already overpowered mages. Though, mages have their rather long robes, i dont think they need also PANTS hehe
