after being away several months i.otice that despite assurance months ago, there is still no way to stop slow.
its rediculas that a lv1600 cant catch a l 400+ mage with a pet of pots. that mage could actually kill that archer using and doesnt even need arm spell .

there have been lpts of improvements but the biggest flaw/imbalance has not been solved.

Got that right, mages are the only class i truly fear, mostly because of the slow.

What do you mean, slow is the only means of hoping to survival I have incase someone 100+ lvls above me attacks so I can run away.

the game engine is not accepting an easy solution there. in september, a big pvp pvm review will be finished and there will be improvements for sure.

I had a thought here... since all characters are the same speed now, the slow spell could simply make speed = 5 (or whatever) and only be used once every 5 seconds (or similar) but then a speed pot would override it (and allow everybody to use them) .... thoughts?

Bad enough i can slow spell someone 3-4 times and they still out run me. Now you want to change it so you can get away faster.

Thats it. Hard to catch RUNNING MAGES

most mages dont use it to run away. they slow and attack with their great staff range. its not being used defensively except at levels under 100. easy solution i think could be to make it a skill with a time delay like other skills. a mage could use it defensively to escape but cant spawn slow, greenflow combinations. blitz idea might work too. but ranged cant use speed pots

if the question is that mages use slow to run away - let's make a 'haste' spell instead. this way it can not override others speed stat and would be on par with speed potion for melees. btw, game should now let archers use speed potions too, as they lost their speed bonus

I agree, and have actually suggested these ideas to other players while playing the game, I think you are on point with this, and I agree archers should be able to use speed pots now as well, I knew I couldn't be the only one with these thoughts, so thank you for putting these ideas/suggestions in forum I like should have done a few weeks ago.
