a mount to travel anywhere(relatively) increased speed would be the purpose. low level players would probably not have access or the ability. possibly even making a skill for it as to have a nessesary skill level to ride more exceptional mounts. even charge a real monetary value on higher/more exotic mounts

I would so LOVE to have a Unicorn for my Mage Sydhe!

and i would love not taking forever to get to an oposing side of the world map, plus there are many, many ideas for this type of gaming aspect
