stuck on kraken quest any suggestions?

already hit all the altars trained to sail an now im supposed to talk to the blue devil an give him 500m an 200 staff an 2 125 staffs but no bubble :/ please help if im missing something ..

Stuck on same quest. Did the 7 alters. Took the sailing lessons. Keep getting sent to the start map. No new quest instructions and no npc's to talk to. What do I do where do I go? Only thing I found are the pirate that tells me what I need to get hobbit boots and a cave blocked by stones I can't figure out how to enter. Help please!

if an npc has not told you to go to kraken island, you cannot get there yet
