If wagon is going to be prime spot for scorpion king, perhaps 30 boots and unknown key should be sold elsewhere (imagine a new player trying to get those for the first time)...
...or move scorpion to coliseum only with notice, as I suggested earlier.

Scorpion appears when certain conditions are met:
At least 10 players on map, sum of all players level at least 10000 and one player with level > 1000.

but mr. compbatant the coliseum is the safest place for those events. I have 2ideas in my head for sure:

-make the event of scorpion king in coliseum
-make pets disappear to a safe place out of scorpion king area.

I know all players will be with me for the 2 ideas. for the coliseum; most of times wagon is made for pvp events. and newbies nor levelers may be exploring there sometimes especially that map has some good items in shops.
and a system message warning before 15mins is perfect so players will prepare for a big battle.

maybe make scorpion king drop tools +4 (drop rate 50%) like before? that makes sense for that event. so players may have fun for some kind of rare reward.

I'm not too bothered about the drop so much at the moment. I think when we get this right, it will be good for players to work together to defeat a common enemy.

Then think about drops.

Here is what I was afraid would happen.

Blacksmith map top right at the entrance to orc dungeon. This happens to be part of the tutorial. It's somewhere to introduce players to the game gently, not frighten them!

4x scorpions in the screenshot, and more appeared as plenty of 1k+ players there.

Think back to being a new player. You should not face such an enemy.

It continued.

Its not fair if a new player goes to attack a level 2 orc and gets wiped out by scorpion.

Having said that, it was a lot of fun.

I think coliseum.

This should not be happening anywhere near new player areas. Please choose a better and more specific mechanism for triggering the Scorpion King spawn.

Not to mention the 6k arch that was deliberately mass spawning orcs and dragging them down to those fighting the Scorpion King swamping them and getting them killed. Dirty trick to pull during an event
