Old Idea revisited: KeyRing

I saw this by SellSword today.

We need the "One KeyRing"

"One KeyRing to rule them all,
One KeyRring to find them,
One KeyRing to bring them all
and in FT bind them.
"

Maybe a Crafted item. Plenty of NPCs looking for work. Isn't there one in Ardesia City that is available to anyone over level 20?

Then when you get a key it melds with the "KeyRing"
- if you are wearing it, or
- if the KeyRing is in House, Bank, Tavern; add the new key and it melds to the KeyRing

- The KeyRing, is non-transferable and is only for non-transferable or keys classified as: UNIQUE:1 and are "reusable", the find once and keep/use forever keys type keys.
- Also the bought "Unknown Key" goes on The KeyRing
- - or any future "buy it" key that comes to the game

- (I)nfo tab: lists Keys on the KeyRing

- keys you must find in order to pass through doors and disappear as you use them do not go on the KeyRing:

I love this idea

We have a lot of great ideas, like the keychain, like the additional slots

Anything that makes me collect these unique and possibly usable items together is fine by me

It's in one of the threads in Leone's search results as well. A few posts up from that one I even point out that players literally get a key ring already but just can't put keys on it. ;)

Suggestions about keys have definitely come up a few ways over the years, some about not wanting to keep needing to carry them around after using them once and others about just not wanting to store them.

My keys tend to make their way to the bank or tavern at some point. Inevitably I'll end up agreeing to go to HGM or the cemetery with someone and find myself going to search storage in three areas that couldn't be much further apart (bank, tavern, and Ardesia house).

Whatever one wants to call it a key holder of some sort would be nice.
