When I leveling someone is constantly harassing me, against rule 9

FT has always had PvP, but there have also been quite a few changes in the process. If you look at the older suggestions on the forum the complaints about PvP were loud and constant. Changes slowly came about.

Once there was no "within 3 levels" restriction on higher level players attacking lower level players.

Once there were no outlaws.

Once there were no stun items and it was almost impossible for melee players to meaningfully engage in PvP.

Once there were no "safe maps" like we have now.

Yes that's why we should listen to suggestions and work together to make it better.. Not tell people to leave a clan or worse leave the game

It doesn't need changing. If you don't want to be attacked, then you should not join a clan. The point of a clan is to form and work alongside allies and likely make enemies or be designated an enemy by default, that's just the way it is, and you are even warned about this beforehand. Don't like it? Don't join, or if you still insist on it, join a peaceful clan like ADIK Let me reiterate, that the PvP system does NOT NEED any changes in this respect

Keep in mind that this is a pvp game and the game mechanics allow for players to attack other players without any agreement to be reached. Players may not agree with it but it is a fact.

Outlaws have a black name because they attack many players. They don't just single out one player out and attack the same player over and over again. For harassment to be proved, it may have to be proven that he ONLY attacks you and no one else. The game mechanics were set up so that when an outlaw attacks players, those players would gather all of their friends and hunt the outlaw. Im not stating that this is fair or just, I'm just explaining the basics of having outlaw status. If every player that was attacked by another player claimed harassment then that would not be realistic.

This game is not about flowers, hugs, and rainbows. It is a pvp game. There are other games on the play store that have different pvp mechanics if you want to search for another game.

Again, I'm not stating these things because I agree or disagree with the current game mechanics, I'm just stating some facts about FT. These game mechanics have been this way from day 1 and I've seen many players complain about this but it is the way that it is.

There is pvp protection available in the shop menu for a reason.

This will stay this way unless compbatant changes the current game mechanics. The only way to pursue that is to post in the suggestions sub forum and see what happens.

Mephisto, Lord Seth may be able to step in and help you and he will have to be the one that intervenes. He did post earlier in this thread. Perhaps you will get your wish.

What Ryaca has said here, is exactly the truth. If you are in a clan, or are an outlaw, expect and do not complain about PvP. If you are attacked by a lower level, while neither of these, and you haven't attacked him previously, then it is not harassment unless it is reoccurring, and should you not want to die, you can always buy PvP protection.

I'm sorry for stating the obvious, but the other point is that if you stay too long in one spot then players get wise to it. If it's a player who enjoys PvP then you are really not helping yourself.

Vary where you level up. This will help in cases such as this one being discussed and get you used to different places around the game.

It seems to me harassment would be better proved if it happened not just in one location but several. If he were following everywhere someone goes that would be different. One of my alts recently did a Merc quest and had to deal with over several days a steady flow of "hunters" looking for a clan person or one their level to attack. Several intentionally or unintentionally dragged monsters with a dex greater than my pets so I logged several times. I bring this up to make this point when I moved from that spot to do something else the aggravating situations ended. I have no doubt the hunters are still making their rounds but I am no longer in their path. If someone moves and the harassment follows that is against rule 9 in my opinion but if the hunter goes his usual path and the grinder does his usual path confrontation is to be expected. Who has a greater right to be on a single map location is debatable in such a scenario. I am not approving of bad or inconsiderate behavior at all. I wish it were not so but to emphasize my point if I return to where I had problems they are most likely still there.

There are times when you lose and want revenge, I also kill each one of my own or above the level and go to see other places visited by my level, for this pvp was done to fight everyone. If you can’t often pvp with one player after a lot of losses, then this is a stupid rule system for the fight, because you will end up in prison without understanding everything to the end.

P.s if I violated the pvp rule somewhere, I apologize and hope this does not happen again with me.

If any player is not happy with the current rules or game mechanics, they can make a post in the suggestions subforum.

Also remember that there are 2 sides to every story.

Many times players claim to be the victim of harassment when in fact there is much history between the 2 players.
