Yes I also would agree there's needs to be more active GM's but they need to be trustworthy!!!
We need active GM's four players are abusing the system like for example AFK with pets or seigeing. I see this happen so much but so often I have no one to report it to so I have to end up killing them myself. Rules don't mean much if there's no one to actively enforce them. I'm not in any way down talking the current GM team know they have no staff and are trying their hardest ^_^ I'm just simply pointing out the obvious they need more help

Whenever players are allowed to be the police there will always be some forms of corruption which is extremely hard to keep out entirely.

There needs to be several layers of modship, the very basic should only be allowed to temp ban afk grinders and mute people abusing chat for up to 2hr at a time.

Upon proving themselves (and not just based on how many rule breakers he/she has punished, but overall helpfulness) be promoted to the next step with the ability to summon spawn parties, bans and mutes extending to a limit of 12h/24h. Possibly allowing some clan powers to allow allies and such to be made but very limited (can't adjust levels and such)

I think this is as far as it should go for the average player. One problem I see people not wanting to be a GM is because you can't really play the game much after becoming one. A lot of people are already in a clan and don't want to be forced to leave just to help out the game.

I'm undecided whether or not to suggest players being allowed to have full GM powers and still be in a clan, just for the potential abuse it can incite. I still feel there should be lower levels of modship that still have abilities to help keep most petty disputes/requests fulfilled, but not the OP powers that a true GM has.

Of course if a player wishes to be more involved and want to be a true GM then by all means they can still become one, with the current regulations that are required.

I just feel there needs to be some sort of introductory level where players can have SOME powers, enought to help police the game but not enough to warrant leaving their clan or disrupting their normal game play.

Small things like trust trades, alliances, afk checking, spawning, (temp) mutes, etc can easily be dealt with by a bigger team of lower powered player mods. If that makes sense lol. If the workload of a typical GM were lessened by a force of players that can handle all of those little things, it might encourage more players to be more willing to become a full GMs as they won't have so much to contend with.

Most of the problems requiring a GM are simple and I know they can be taxing. Let trusted players take care of these little fixes and still be able to play the game completely, and leave the big stuff the true GMs.

This is kind of what I was thinking...
I disagree on the thought of spawning, and removed it from the quote...
I'm hoping to have a more concrete outline hammered out before I pitch it to the team though.

I only included it because people seem to want them, it's really not that big of a deal to me and can be saved for those wanting to dedicate more to becoming true GM. Maybe a limit of how many spawn or a duration limit for a PM.

Basically if there was an "inbetween" type of player mod that had limited powers (basic punish and clan alliance mostly, but I feel having some spawning abilities might make the PM team more like game helpers to make it more fun than just police to enforce rules lol) along with forums I feel it'd go a long way to helping with the day to day running of the game.

I agree completely, and have started the ball rolling on this. Hopefully, it gets considered.
