Not necessarily. If a clan with that SPECIFIC tag doesn't exist, or never did, then it can be made. Isn't it a shame you would have to make many alt clans just to protect your own name?

Clan politics ARE ugly, not just can be 
We war one group and they attack allies who are not part of the war just to bully them.
More and more get involved and soon we fall apart
