The portals are there, and you need a few players of same level to fight the bosses.
The bosses spawn at regular intervals. See here:

Also, some of the old data has changed with new updates, like this:
556 "Jade Pendant(300)" drops=Ptery(0.1%) Werewolf(0.8%) Pharaoh(0.8%) quests=2007(MAGE) chests=187.187 231.231
(NOTE the Ptery drop)

307 "Jungle Ring(750)" drops=Dwarf Warlord(0.1%) quests=735
These are still in the same place I think... The Warlords are where you can mine rubies.

Oh nice to see this getting added. I chose to spend few B the last couple days getting these type of items. Figured it would be fixed eventually but surprised how quickly after I bought them. Do the 750 plates get a chance at+?

Bring a 250 weapon (in this case, a sword) and a lightning sting to an npc in the shop on map 1.3
Note, you'll need to be at least 1k (I know you are, but for others who read).
