I've searched everywhere that I can access. Granted, I play with the zoom out at maximum. Should I change to zoom in max?
if i see u in game i would help u find the hidden treasure. U see one map is there where u can see the emarald and ruby on lower side . it is in that map. try looking on upper parts of that map

This map will come in handy for HGM:

The hidden treasure is on the left/middle map. If you are looking at the walkthrough map above you will see a :?: towards the top left. Be careful as there are blood worms around the treasure area. They move rather slow, but you should either not take pets while exploring HGM or at least park them a ways away.

Here is what you are looking for at that location:
