Re: The protest and everything related
So in the end we have now oneside which is getting players released that shouldnt, that anyway is winning(you can see this on the new map, we have nothing there at all) and now gets even stronger, while we are getring destriyed, and rules apply foe us, unbelieveable, good job team, this way u made sure that one half of players will stop playing...just unbelievable

Its not fake.
It's not that the GM's released tigre, it's that comp released tigre.

I'll post here, as my chat may get missed.
We cannot hold the GM team responsible for decisions made by comp. This is not the first time he has done this.
The bigger issue here is that again, the "owner" has deemed rules that were made and followed(for a while(year+), not a few days) were no longer valid. Where was he when these rules were made ? It seems he has little regard to this game until there's a threat of disruption to his pocket. If these rules were invalid, then as the "head of the game" he should have made it known then, these rules don't belong.
This causes two issues. First being, the GM team gets the end result. They get blamed, when in fact, they got railroaded. But as players, most don't understand that part. This would be similar to having a community law that people follow for years, one person(or a small group) decide they don't like that law. They decide to go over the community leaders and get someone else in the govt to change the law, even tho they have no true knowledge of what the law is for. Then the community accuses their leaders for a law change. Wasn't the leaders fault, but because they are the ones "in charge" they receive the blame.
The second issue this causes, what's gonna be the next one ? If the owner at any time can just come and make changes because he feels like it, where does it end ? What and when will he do it again ? Those that have followed the rules, their anger is completely understandable. They feel the system let them down, they didn't get rewarded for following rules, they feel they were punished. The ones that thought the rules didn't apply, well they cried and won(again) and were rewarded.
This my GM friends is where we are now. I understand you aren't to blame, but not accepting that players are upset, and saying it is without reason, is your blame. Now is when the players need your guidance. Tell them what you are allowed, I know we can't have the full story. But this is the time you show your leadership skills and compassion. Not all instances require an iron fist.
Players we need to step back and see the full picture. This isn't just one side, this affects us all. Hating the GMs for instances beyond their control is wrong.

Re: The protest and everything related
When I saw the picture I INSTANTLY knew it was (comps) doing of letting tigre out he has done it a few times in my almost 10 years of playing this game, and yes the blame did instantly go to the GMs from everything I saw and it also made me wonder why tigre hasn't gotten a level reduction yet after all these years of jailings.Lestat wrote: Fri May 17, 2024 6:06 pm I'll post here, as my chat may get missed.
