I will add also level restriction for crafting so you will be not able to craft item with higher level than your character.
Rather than not being able to craft an item with a level higher than your current level, how about making it a 25 level difference? That would allow players to prepare further in advance for the equipment they need. I think a current level restriction is too restrictive.

In the next update the queen will not be able to use any weapon ( this bug appeared in the 4.x version).
I will add also level restriction for crafting so you will be not able to craft item with higher level than your character.
I will think what to do with bosses from MMORPG version and their drops.
Compbatant, I was next to suggest you to make the succeed rate for crafting equal to item level minus 10% for every main character's level LESS.
The equation would be :
Crafting Success = 100 - (character level - item level)*10
So, if my party has to craft a Golden Armor (level 150), the success rate will be 100% if my character is at level 150 too, 90% if he is at level 149; 80% if he is at level 148 etc till 0% if he is at level 140 or less.
But both ways leave two huge problems open:
1 - crafting an iron armor is necesary to complete the quest for Sebastius, which I usually am able to afford around level 30. Doing your way (or even this way) would force any player to slay monsters till reaching level 75 or so.
2 - crafting is the only way to obtain money in the game for mid to high level characters, because there are no more quests and monsters don't drop gold and basically don't drop items too, so all the items in the blitzbee island shop remain unreachable because too expensive. Just the whole set of black masks and ice armors for a party of 5 cost around 32 Millions.
I have suggested you to allow crafting only after level 30 or to trigger with Sebastius' quest and I still think it could be a good strategy, but how do you think to solve the problem?

Are you saying you can do sebastius quest at level 30? I would think that it is VERY Difficult to get past the warlocks at that point...also don't you need level 50 to get spider symbol? Am i wrong here?
It is a good point you bring up though...this essentially puts a level 75 restriction on that quest... personally I'm ok with that, but it's a great concern to bring up

Yes, it has not been easy though!
When I did my first game, I had a very hard time because I didn't consider the strategic importance of the wizard who reset stats but, by investing in healing potions, I have been able to sneak in the vampires & warlocks' castle and steal the book without fighting them but just passing through and healing my men.
On my second game, that I did once I realized that updates on Amazon where too slow and thus after re-dowloading the app from Google Store, I just used the wizard to move all of my skill points into Dexterity and that allowed my party to stay alive just the time to sneak in and steal everything from the castle. It was pretty cool because it was not a fighter-style mission but a rogue/thief-style one.
About being level 50, I never had any kind of restriction except entering the cave with the red cyclops.
Indeed that wizard is a powerful aid, since one level lost every some and then is a very good investment to optimize stats against some very specific foes.
Anyway, moving that quest to level 75 isn't bad by itself! But the question is: what a single player is supposed to do in the meanwhile? Just moving around and slay monsters to level up? Pretty boring: then it should be filled with more sub-quests ...
Remember that the RPG is not the MMORPG and XP and gold gaining is very slowed down.

Yeah, I remember raiding the Dungeons in rpg also..very fun (couldn't use stat reset mage that way though because back then you could only use him 1 time LoL)
We still definitely need more quests, and more are being designed. Out of curiosity, at what level do you run into "nothing to do but grind" for more than 5 levels (I think this number is perfectly acceptable between quest lines....I know you may disagree, which Is fine of course)

Pretty difficult to say. In my very 1st game I got stuck around level 30 because of the xp sharing with my party and backpacks limits. After the patches about those issues I think around level 50 because I have been able to enter the red cyclops cave ( even if not able to kill any of them of course) and able to kill a vampire to bring its blood to the mushroom child. After that I kept playing just for the curiosity to complete the book quest (clearly impossible at that level) and to see what was going on in the map with the 5 houses, because I had already completed every other quest in the game.

Yes, there is a BIG quest gap between the Sebastius series and the stolen book/five houses series. Some more quests in the mid level, for characters from level 50 to 150, would be good.

Next big map/quest update will probably be Gandalf's ... a continuation of sebastius quest

This game is such an eyecandy that I can't but think how it is wasted by those difficulty and playability issues.

If you'd seen it a year ago (or two or three) you'd know how much it's grown/changed and you might have more hope
