I can help you with that.
That poor lad has finally got the mushrooms after a yr and a half. No wonder they made him sick! Beekeeper loves the book.

One dark dreary night, i became aware of how bored i was, so, i decided to look for mmorpgs. I found forgotten tales.
So.
I woke up in a forest, having absolutely no recollection of who i was or how i got there.
The sun was shining and my nostrils were filled with the faint smell of freshly cut pine. In the distance, i could hear the sound of someone chopping wood.
I could also hear a tune in the back of my mind, it went a little something like this... Waaaahhh whuuuuuu, (whooooosh) whuuu wheeee whhaaauuyyuueeeyuuu,.......oooarreeeeeuuhhhhhh. whuuuuu whaaaaaa wuuhhh, duhhn dahhhhhhhh, daaa-uuyyeeyyaa (whoosh).....(etc)

I went to find out who was chopping the wood and to my surprise, he asked me to run an errand for him. I reluctantly agreed in the hope that he might one day help me (now he just ignores me and wont even talk to me)

Anyway, i ran his errand, and got killed by some giant bees. So, i decided not to go that way again for a while. Instead i killed some wolves and then moved on to the map on the right.
To my utter amazement, there were real live skeletons, walking around as if it were completely normal for a skeleton to be walking round, so naturally, i decided to kill one (as you do)
It wasn't long at all before i was walking past the guy chopping trees again.
I remember trying to recruit people to help me kill skeletons as i couldn't handle them very well.
I remember my temper boiling up inside as i lost TWENTY PERCENT XP EVERY TIME I DIED.
I spoke to a moderator about this....i believe it may have been Enmer. He said there was nothing he could do about it.
Then, a few days later i met a person who seemed really nice, he gave me some seige weapons and took me to a grand castle, where i spoke to a bloke who said he needed some seige weapons, so, naturally, i gave him the seige weapons, then, suddenly, i felt MUCH stronger and i got a message from God saying i'd reached level 10.
Then, the guy who gave me the seige weapons asked me to target him,so i did. He killed me in one hit. (sending me mixed messages there)

After realising my new found power, i went to a vast forest, where i met a young boy, he wanted some mushrooms, so, again, i accepted his errand.
Whilst I scoured the land for mushrooms, i seen a walking mushroom (and believe me, i hadn't eaten any) so i tried to kill it, but, it destroyed me as soon as it touched me.
After trying to say hello to the woodcutter again, i walked back to the map where the mushrooms were and unloaded all my mana into a slow walking mushroom and he lost half his hp.
So, i went somewhere quiet where mushrooms dont appear out of the blue (non spawn zone) and i ran away from him constantly whilst my mana recharged. The next time i unleashed all my mana and he died, giving me 500 xp. (this is much better then the 2xp you get from skeletons) i got all the way to level 20 doing this.
I did however die many times (strangely, always reincarnating in the same place) during my mushroom days.
I remember how ANGRY (GRRR) i was at dying and losing 20percent xp.
20 percent xp took about 3 hours to get. And, you let your guard down for even a second and BAM, 3 hours wasted.
(i was foaming at the mouth, thinking the game was a conspiracy to wind people up to create negative energy....etc etc)
I spoke again to Enmer about this and 3 days later, it was down to 10 percent xp loss.
This was great news for me, i don't know if Enmer actually had anything to do with it or if it was just coincidence but i accepted it gladly
Anyway, after a while, i'd overheard someone saying that killing yellow archers was a good way to get xp, so i wandered up there where i met Miller and Shirley. They tanked for me whilst i unleashed the full force of my mana through my nicely acquired level 20 staff.
They helped me for a few levels and the archer field i stayed for a good while....the rest is history.
That is the story of my first few weeks.
(sorry for all the cussing, i didn't know it wasnt allowed)

So, as time went on, i found ways of making gold. This was extremely difficult for me as i was a mage, quarter of my backpack was filled with scrolls, on top of that, it seemed to be the case that mages dont get as many bows as archers anyway, the reason for this, i thought, was because you needed to 100percent kill an archer to get it's bow, but, mages have ranged spells which attack many enemies at the same time.(this is back when the yellow flow spell was just a weaker version of the green flow spell and you couldn't just attack one enemy.) To make up for this loss, i used to fill my pack with bows and walk all the way down to 100g city where i would get 10k more per bow. I did this many times.
On one of my journeys down to 100g city (so called because it costs 100 gold to get in, not because it weighs 100 grams as im sure many of you may have thought) I came across a band of adventurers, they seemed to be pounding on a golden dragon, he was nearly dead, so, i hit him, once, and then he died.....then, in the top left corner of my screen appeared a Staff like object. So, i picked it up. I walked away, having said nothing to the other adventurers about this staff. When i took it to the pawn shop, i was totally amazed at how much it was worth, it was 6m....so, i pryed it back from the cold boney fingers of the shopkeeper and took it up to where the archers relentlessly give their lives for our xp. I sold the staff for 8m.
This was a lot of money to me and i was amazed at how much i had (11m), i used this money to begin my trade of buying and selling items.

Anyway, some more time passed, and i met (Dr)DOOM, a large flying bat.....he was the silent type mainly, but one day, he came to me and befriended me. He talked to me for a short while saying that he (was having some issues) and no longer had the time to play forgotten tales....he said he'd been watching the way i play and deemed it necessary to give his account to me. So, DavidIcke joined Dr, where DOOM took me to the clan map and killed me...so, i walked back down to the clan map where he gave me the pw for DOOM. Then, he logged out.
I logged in, and to my amazement, there i was...just flapping around...me, a giant bat. (with a not too shabby level either)
So, i spent the day flapping around, trying not to give away the fact that i wasn't actually DOOM. This didn't fool Magix (a level 2000 or so Mage) though, who grew immediately suspicious when he attacked me and i flapped away. He knew i wasn't DOOM as i ran away when attacked, which, apparently, DOOM never did.
Anyway, it was about that time when Robyn (Mike) showed up....Magix told Mike i wasn't DOOM and they immediately quizzed me about the missing tower! I had no idea how the tower had disappeared but Magix was having none of it, so he killed me.
So, i'd been flapping around for a while and people started noticing the tower was gone.
They IMMEDIATELY bombarded me with orange text to ask me what had happened. (at this point, i was still a noob and didn't know how to clan chat)
People grew angry and suspicious as their calls went unanswered so i started wandering around the map to try and find the people who were talking to me...but they were like Gazelles compared to a stiff old bat like me and i never got to speak to them.
Anyway, i went back to the clan map and explained to Robyn how i was just DavidIcke and not actually DOOM, And that i thought he'd framed me for selling his tower etc.
The rest of Dr showed up and started quizzing me, and it wasn't long at all until they realised who i was, so, i was asked to sign out of DOOM, and so i did and that was the end of that little adventure.

It was around about this time that i discovered the forum.so, being full of ideas and also slightly angry at the game because i was always getting killed, i made a mild nuiscance of myself (in the nicest possible way)on the forum. Saying that i thought the game was unfair, etc etc and giving my suggestions of how to improve. I Now realize why i was left to overcome my anger on my own. If many of my suggestions had been placed it probably wouod have ruined the game, i didn't foresee the great updates that came after, (although, i do still think pvp could be a choice if handled correctly with timers similar to the outlaw timer that stops you from switching back and forth between pvp and nonpvp to often.)
After a while, i realised that maybe my ideas where a step too far so i decided to make an archer instead. I named him a (subjectively) offensive name (four letters, begins wit a c, ends in a t and has an L and an i in the middle, followed by the contraction CMDR) and he immediately got jailed upon landing within eyesight of a mod.(sorry for all that)
I was forced to rename him...so, i called him SerjTankian (which i swear i didn't have planned for him the whole time)
That is how Serj was Born.
I spent the next month or so levelling up Serj in a dark, damp and dreary dungeon inhabited by ginger mages and red Zombies, where, if you listen closely, sometimes you can hear the ghosts of dead cows.
Anyway, i continued with my ft destiny and here i am today.

Great reading. The 100g city is rather clumsily named. I reckon it should have a proper name like Silverwood does.

Most players call it "100g city" as stated above, but the original name is “walled city”. This name was given to it at times when the Colosseum was not yet planned or still under construction.

Nowadays, I like that name “Colosseum city” (when spelt correctly, of course ㄟ(ツ)ㄏ).
