Since offensive/defensive specializations get a (potential) stat bonus, then neutral should get something as well. Not a stat bonus, but bonus to the various trades, based on existing player affinity, would be ideal. For example, mages already have higher affinity for fishing. So, add chance to fish double items, decreased time, or higher level items (within 250 levels above current level).

Again, just thinking outside the box...
Actually, this a fantastic point and idea.
My original idea was offensive/support/generic....
But, I'm trying to encourage everyone to get away from generic...
So... why not another choice? A trades specialization?

Now, every class has it's own trade affinity... a specialization in this would boost ALL of your trades, probably the biggest boost on what you're good at, but a small boost on what you're not. Obviously, this is a sort of "peaceful" class, so your all around PvP skills might be diminished...
But yeah... this would be great in some ways, if implemented well ;)

You need all strength set for mages but I am sure that you will lose yet xD mages are broken yea but that set will work better
