Try a little UUDDLRLR walk...

Or ice cave, all the way past the plat map with the teleport on the lava/devils map. It's totally free... uh, if you already paid the one-time fee...

From Village in ice caves, go up through Elder trappers to the right-hand door at top. Leads to Cavemen. Travel straight south from that entrance to the portal, and that will lead you to devils (where platinum is) A portal near the center of that map takes you to Ghost Devils, and at the top left corner of THAT map is the portal to Devil's Island.
Whew! That's a digital mouthful...
