1) quest items are avaible to all. not only evil players.
2) I did not mention the helms because i consider them useless with lower dmg then swamp helm. also they cost 75m (and sell back for 15 only).

3)
To buy my first swamp bow I had to start grinding at lv80. saved 70m by selling 37k robes. hundreds of hours of grinding. a good day of 4hours grinding would bring 4m.. same for lv150 helm. then it took months to find someone who had one for sale. I got my lv 150 helm at lv182,

now u and many new players complain of needing a few hours to get top level items u can buy any time at shop.

20m in a few hours is good.
I still grind exclusively on rearrow and often get less. but I consider this quick and easy.
especially when compared what we had to do before.

yup i do in clan. most gear is free in clan. I still grind many hours a day to buy gear for clanmembers or to sell for money for towers.
duke and high lvls provide gold and gear, others help in building, etc.
but since clanmembers dont have to worry about gear they give most cash to clan too.

Quest items are available to all, but mostly high level players got them as drops (in PvP of course). That had been an easy way for high levels to horde gold. The level 100 hat would sell between 40-55m gold. In spawn party drops, high level players would rule the roost. In fact, many had bought level 200 plate and level 200 helm for 250m gold each. In short, low level players were taxed! High level enjoyed, an elitist approach!

I can imagine what could be the outcome of blocking players access to high level items! If the level 150 hat was not availabe in shop for 20m, I, and many others like me, would have bought it for, umm, say 80-100m, from high level players. :D Nah, I still take great care of my hat even though it is available for 20m at shop.

Speak about complaining, I think it was none other than rearrow who would always complain about high level players stealing all drops at spawn parties/grinding. :) I never complained about anything!

And yeah, there is a big difference between a swamp bow, and a hat. Swamp bow never drops, but hat does!
I think it would be far better to put the level 150 bow in in-app purchases so that not only players can enjoy it, but also the purchase would pay a little to game.

hmmm. first i didnt do much pvp until very recently. if there was a drop.i returned it.
in my experience most high lvls did too in my year and a half of playing. sure there were a few who would hunt for gear. but most did not.

i know about the prices. in fact i grinded to buy gear from those players . i bought that had for 35 and sold it at 40. when suddenly items started to apear in shops at cheap prices i had 3 alts full of previously unique gear which was suddenly useless. lost over 800m in total during last updates. ( had sup golden legs, earth legs, mystic masks, lv100 hats). all bough at high prices getting money grinding. thats how i got money for the castles of raw. buy and sell.

at parties drops would go to mages nd high lvls. i aman archer. i never got a drop. mages took most. not the high lvls. and i bought those items from them. they had it easy. didnt have to grind for it.

if item not available in shop you have to buy it at higher prices from.others .
these others were willing to spend all that time grinding fir it to get that rare drop or trying to beat the mages to a drop at parties.

you mised the part about mystic helm i asume. it drops. lost 2. cost me 70-120m each time. now 5m in shop.

lol
you acuse me if elitism. then propose to make item available by real money purchase only.
the following can not get it then
-no creditcard ( easy to get in us, not so in many other countries, u need to have a large income there)
- google wallet not available in country (theres more than us and europe)
-young players who dont want to 'borrow' their parents credutcards.

It looks like many new players want everything easy and dont want to spend any effort on it. gimme gimme gimme.

and they getting it.
-more early quests to lvl faster and easier
- walkthroughs for these quests so u dont have to spend time trying things yourself.
-lists with all locations of monsters drops, stats. . heaven forbid yiu have to search and exore yourself.
-gear cheaply in shops

might as well gice them 1000 lvls so they dont have to spend the effirt of walking around or playing.

and then they play a month and leave bored. no wonder.

I like helping others - i've created and leveled a dedicated char for that purposse, who hasn't completed most quests to be able to obtain quest items time and again, - but when the first interaction with previously unknown to me player is a try to sell me an item for 100k (most i saw was 6m, for solar staff though), or a whisper message 'plis gold'/'plis items', my willingness to help fades...

thx for all the plusses but...

until about 2 months ago (maybe even one).a solar staff sold for 6m in shop. it was very hard to get for non-mages being a boss dragon drop. they were selling them higher. so this one guy/girl was actually doing u a favor. not trying to rip u off.

but for the rest yes.happens every single time at start. the higher ur lvl the more they want.

ps I help at least 3 or 4 lv 0-10 every week to get a few more lvls and with gold . but NOTif they ask. and if they try these sell tricks they may be remembered and die at later stages.actually i got some alts at start at several low levels to punish them.

1.Your assumption is misleading. I think I am older player than you. :) The game is developing. It was more porn to boredom than now. Now, there is "something" which compels you to play. The new quests for low levels is a great addition. Leveling up is easier now, items are many and cheap, wow, a good motivational factor for the starters! Its MMO obviously you get friends and foes, You get help, nothing wrong in it,

2. Most of us play the game for the social aspect of it, not to get anything free. The drops/bosses can be discovered, secret items unearthed, quests completed, items bought, gold horded then what? All are mere toys, but the human beings! I log in, see online friends, if there are any, I retain my online session, if not, I log out.

3. You are lucky, you live in infinity, every person does not have that much free time to spend couple of hours at one sitting.

kinda off topic, but it is definitely faster to level now... I (and many others of course) grinded to 100 with level 20 gear and no skills... before that I believe Gandalf was first player to 100... and that was when ice cave was best grinding spot lol ;)
