Just over 5 minutes into FT's Christmas Day (when I took that scrot)

The kids keep checking the "Santa tracker" and seeing Santa flying around the world. We spend Christmas Eve at in-laws so we need to make sure we get home before Santa gets too close. Then some yummy milk and cookies left out! Uh, for Santa I mean!

We spent Christmas Eve in the dark! Power in the 'infamous corner' of our neighbourhood went out at ±21:30

Came on just as we all decided we may as well go to bed. It was like they were magic words.

Santa wear's a bathing suit here. It's 30° indoors, 24° outdoors and it's only 09:30, not a cloud to be seen!
Hit 37° yesterday!

LK " Spent time in North Pole again today. Went in again as a TANK to help people.

No sense in doing that is there were at one time 8 Death pets in there.

I went in and saw a level 2400 player with a death pet... hardly a pet with a dex a 2400 player could use when there isn't an event. I assume the boss dex is low so even weak players can get in some hits. My conclusion a pet bought just for this event. Something amiss in the Christmas spirit in spite of better players sharing their winnings. I read about reactions during and after last year's event...I am sorry it was not amended for this year for ALL players to have opportunity for fun. I don't like being negative but that is how it appears to me. Happily the only sour note in an otherwise happy holiday.

With 8 Death pets surrounding the Yeti Boss, most melee players couldn't even get close. And 8 Death pets made for a very short fight. Had no one brought pets, the fight would have lasted longer and people would not have been standing around complaining about "What one one every X minutes!" However people are greedy "they want want want". Now I was given 2 tickets and I appreciate them, but I'm not going to help "Death" beat out lower level players anymore. It really didn't hit me until very late on the first day. And I got caught in the middle of something that left a bad taste in my mouth. I'll just leave that there, I managed to clear the air in a way I feel good about things.

Today LK spent his time on and off FT|RL and just managed to squeak in his final 'daily' at 23:42 I think it was. Also had to fix a toilet, always a favourite Christmas day activity.

On getting a ancient weapon piece....I have gotten two but not recently. I would say most likely those two came in 400 levels of trying. I think my first after close to 2 months of trying. So...keep it up eventually luck will fall your way.

I will not tell a lie, I have 2. One was given to me when my level was ±50 I think, but regardless <100 for sure, with a "You'll need this one day, don't loose it!" And another was a gift as I was approaching 1K. But now that I'm doing the trying, I realize just how valuable they are.

0.1% shows it's true colours when it's a 1 a day thing.

I did not know that I could try earlier, only started when I got level 2K.
