Yes, I think you need 4(?) planks: two for outward journey and two for the return.

The other option is to brave the pharoah spiders maze. Definitely have an escort if you choose this route.

OK found my way to the spiders - managed to get two but they overwhelmed me and I barely escaped with my life - headed south ... BIG mistake, saw the boat man on the other side of the water ... white archers, searing pain, poisoned arrows I'm certain, 4 attacking, pumping out shots ... I look like a porcupine, running .... walking away ... crawling ... DEATH! aaaahhhh sweet death it ends the pain!

My last thought before dying, "¡Obviously not this way!"

The way of the rats, GREAT BIG RATS, HUMAN SIZE RATS, UGLY RATS ... long pink tails, there should be a 1m gold bounty on those tales, oops, tails, rather than simply forgotten! ... and pink-n-white mages - NOT the correct way ... death in the maze of portals was ... well; DEATH! {sigh}

Perhaps a speed potion and a trip through the worms would be easier. Remember to park any pets before getting close to the worms. Also, unequip your sword to access the portal easier in case you get surrounded by it.

Well, I found a way ... via another map ... to the boat - i plank ... however not having speed potions the bees got, DEATH by bee stings, what a painful death it was ... on the way back to pay him to get across, so I saved those coins as I was resurrected in 0.0, BUT I GOT IT!

The following is just this man's opinion - please read it as such.

I will no longer participate in SYSTEM: notices of attacks in Ashdown or Castle M. They seem to me a place for the "ranged powerful" to go to with their power pets and suck up the enemies, cheap exp and the cheap loot whatever possible. Nickles and dimes in the long run add up!

The event going on right now (21-10-2017 19:25) at Map 0.0 was fun for about 3 minutes, until I realized the faires(xxxx) and mages (5xx+) were letting lower lvl uses get swamped hoping for a kill, and then zooming in close and sucking up red mummies and or ghosts a dozen at a time with their log range multiple enemy attacks. I finally went to an underground tunnel where where was no one and was letting three skeletons kill me ... along come a (+500) mage - doesn't heal me and leave, nooooooooo, kills the skeletons and leaves. OK, maybe he was trying to help, but being one of the overwhelming number of 'black named guys out in force today', no pvp right, I don't think so.

Still an awesome idea but not sure how it helps the lower levels ... from what I saw, most were on the sides watching.

You're right Mad ... can't please everyone - I'm not complaining mind you, just making an observation. The design and implementation of the event was and is a very well done act.

I'll be tweaking things as we progress.
I may even add some more to the coliseum today - there's an area I did not use, as I had work to do before I could finish.
On 0.0, the stuff there is all really low level - chance of dropping level 0 boots.
That's for new players.
The Coliseum is still being ironed out.
I'm thinking of setting up something on another map for others, as well.
Don't let one event spoil it. Plus, this is the weekend - lots of players online atm.

I have a low lvl mage account ... but high enough that I have a heal spell. There I was in 0.0 standing beside a lvl3 ork trying to kill a swordsman, heaver then the 'event' skeletons, with two of those there as well, I'm healing the guy and he's got the tougher "swordsman" down to a red lifeline .... along come a 30+ dude with two pets and lets them kill those enemies, swordsman and three skeletons. I was keeping the poor guy healed up for those so he could get boots. So before orc(3) left I gave him a pair of boots and two swords I had.

There are time I want the power of ODIN, ZEUS and THOR and ... and ... all wrapped up in one! Some things are just so sad.

Don't get me wrong, there's good people and there's {whistling a tune} people. I'm still doing what I can.
