Untill there is a disclaimer on the forum anything sent or received is free to b shared
Thing is, when playing an international online game, you usually fall under the laws of the country the server resides in.
It depends on what those laws say.

It actually applies to a lot of online services and media as well, not just games.
When you join a social media, like say facebook, do you ever read that whole entire "Terms of Service" thing?
Maybe, you might want to read one sometime, just to get an idea.
You fall under the laws of their country, not yours, and you agree to that when you click the button that says "I accept" or "I agree" or similar.

When you do something online that could be considered a breakage of a law, you do it on their server - so by definition, you do it in their country.
By default, you fall under those laws.

I support this as well, but there's also a lot to it that we, as players, aren't privy to. I'm 100% for transparency, as I believe it leads toward a more fair and just environment... to be fair though, the GMs can't always disclose everything, and I think we need to be mindful of that. Overall, I think they do an exemplary job of things, and have earned the benefit of the doubt from usbenbaggen wrote: Wed Jan 24, 2018 8:13 pm All i am tryin to achieve is more transparency. Re: free mutedawg
Im still learning this fourms interface. I am getting way better. At 12:56pm i messeged the GM and said i was srry and understood my FT jailing. I.broke rule 10. A number of times over my career in FT. Just know i always used my very own i.p. address, im legit i never used a proxy. I dont spam sell. But yes i made offensive names and yes i also stated in message i accepted responsibility for my jailing on my accts and was happy they left me with blue santa. So i wasnt at a total loss. I didnt know this free mutedawg thread was existent till 2 or 3 pages in. I dont know why this got out of hand. When i sent screen shots to benbaggen i should have censored the gm name and profile pic to protect her Forggoten Tails mmo role playing game identity. I could have handled it better to be honest. But i didnt understand why i didnt hear back from gm but see a post on free mutedawg thread from them around 1:35pm. So i now understood why i was ignored thus stumbling upon the thread. I apologize it got so big. Was trying to figure out what i did as stated in the message they sent me. So i turned to friends and laughed when it was NB who reported me. How ever yes it is all very wrong on my end and this thread should be removed n we should all drop this and let me serve my time
Shaolin shadow boxing, and the Wu Tang sword style
If what you say is true, the Shaolin and the Wu Tang could be dangerous.
Do you think your Wu Tang sword style can defeat me?
En garde, ill let you try my Wu Tang sword style

mutedawg, I apologize to you for some very strong assumptions I made about you without really knowing who you are --- Your post makes me think I was probably wrong about that. Anyway, I'm certain you've gained (or regained) a lot of respect from much of the FT community. Maybe I'll see you in game sometime

A fine example, that we should not believe everything we hear from others.blitzcraig wrote: Wed Jan 24, 2018 11:19 pm mutedawg, I apologize to you for some very strong assumptions I made about you without really knowing who you are --- Your post makes me think I was probably wrong about that. Assumptions are easy to make, and we all can do so.
As GMs, we try very hard to not make assumptions, and go on facts we are sure of - but we're not perfect either.
But when it does come to facts, we are not supposed to share confidential ones.
I do find it touching that his friends supported him here, and the ultimate irony was that it was a friend who got him jailed.
(The player released this info, just above).
Remember, communication goes a long way.
If we all come out of this having had some thought on the matter, I think it a good thing in the end.
I think we should not delete this thread, as requested. It is something to remember, for all of us.

I think this thread should remain, and be an example for everyone
Hopefully this will not considered a privacy violation: mutedawg had an answer from me, not long ago, and his case is being solved. It was my intention to write him right after having posted here, but real life decided against me having time for forum and I had to postpone it.

Re: free mutedawg
I have known mute for a long time as when i first started playing he always made time to help me
One thing i distinctly remember from that time is when we were leveling we were both in clans and whenever someone would come to attack he would tell me to run which i would noob that i was and he would always stay and fight and sometimes die so that me and other players could run to safety
I always remember thinking that those acts of unselfish bravery spoke volumes about his character
Mute definitely goes out of his way to help players level and gives out quite a bit of gear
I don't know the situation but i have known mute to be a friendly helpful player
I just wanted to speak about mutes character and that i have known him to be a good player
My 2 cents
