Sellsword is correct. If you attacked him first, even thought he was fighting with someone else, you are in his attackers list and he can attack you anytime, anywhere. Your name will appear RED to him, so he can easily ID you.
And there will be no range of 3 any more, he can buy 100 levels and still attack you.

Yes I saw you were trying to help, help you only succeeded in getting yourself in hot water in this case.
So the question is: Would "harassment", IE: "excessive hunting of the playerA", even come into play if playerA attacks first and is on playerB's "List of Attackers". I understand this is part of this game
But I still feel angry about it
This is a game that reflects real humanity, regardless of level
I will learn the lesson time and time again and make more preparations to guard against them
