I see them as clever and regard the individuals who come up with them on their own as interesting people who are more often than not intelligent, comical, and generally can hold decent conversations. If the goal in the game is to have fun (which I think it is) people should be allowed to do what they want and what is fun to them as long as it doesn't physically interfere with another person's game....

... As a general rule, mods put themselves in charge and set up their own rules in this particular game. Admin just went along with it. Admin has not posted a single rule himself and he's stated over and over that he wants people to like the game and enjoy it....
For the most part, I agree with using creative names. I think they can be very funny at times. However, using a name that is offensive is just not called for. This is a very respectable game, with an awesome gaming community, and it needs to stay that way. There is no place for obscene language whether in chat or as a player's name. There are players of all ages, religions, and ethnic backgrounds. We should remain ourselves, yet respectful of others.
As far as Mods making their own rules, and Admin just going with it, you cannot be farther from the truth. Just because you do not see it, doesn't make it so. The mods are regulated and monitored. We remain in constant contact with each other and Admin. We have a list of rules and protocols, and we log our actions. That is not to say that the Mods aren't people, and free of mistakes. However, if a mistake is made, it is seen in our logs, discussed, and corrective action taken.
