At the time of this post I *think* 2k gear was the highest possible gear, but maybe not. Does this weapon top out at a 2k level (with or without a + depending on when opened), or does the "next weapon up" extend to 3k weapons now? If it does extend up to 3k and there is nothing in between a 2k and 3k, does a player over 2k get the + variant or a 3k weapon?
I'm not trying to squeeze previously-unreleased content from an old comment, but this chest came up in conversation with friends the other day and I was wondering if the "upgrade feature" (or whatever you want to call it) works as discussed here or has been impacted somehow.
