Fair call. You didn't say anything on it.compbatant wrote:This is very interesting that everybody thinks that I said that in September I will add many things which will balance game. I NEVER said MYSELF anything about it.
So if you knew moderators etc were saying this, why not correct it with the rest of the player base and clarify this? Theres ample time. Its been a topic for going on 3 months now. Neither confirming nor denying something doesnt exactly help. It actually causes problems because then people dont know whata going on and those in our trusted mod/admin positions will be believed, even if lets say a monster for example that shot rainbows and had a unicorns horn was going to be added in 2 weeks.compbatant wrote:This info came from moderators I think. I never denied it and also never confirm it.
Their the only ones so far that we can receive information off. As we understand. Or understood it to be. In the chain of "knowingness" it was... You (because your the creator) then the admins who apprently do have contact with you. Then the mods who have have better contact with the admins and are more privy to information, then the playerbase.
So by neither confirming it or denying it while allowing admins/mods (whoever was speaking this september thing) to say such without intervention then to us (the playerbase) confirms an update or misleads us to believe there will be an update.
Planning is an essential thing in an mmo, chaos doesn't work longterm. WoW for instance wouldnt have survived. Neither would ultima or whatever that Aion game i meant to play but didnt.compbatant wrote: I never plan upcoming changes.
compbatant wrote:If I had idea I just working on it. I am working when i have vein. If i want to have schedule I would work in corporation not on my own.
Working on an idea is great. Dont get me wrong progression is always good as i see it. We understand your the only one whos coding etc. Others have put their hands up to help but i get why you may not neccessarily want to accept.
Coorperations (this makes me sick to admit) have plenty of admirable qualities. Such as a schedule, a deadline and producing a finished product (mostly). They have blunders, they have successes, they work to a deadling. You cant do that as one person fair enough, and your probably pretty busy, also fair enough.
But drop a line every so often. Even if its like once a week on whatever it is your doing. Even if its just having a coffee break because your out of ideas for the time being. Theres been plenty of ideas on the forums and while you might not impliment them exactly as written theres still a wealth of something to pull from that sub forum.
I live on 2minute noodles aswell, the struggle is real. I eat when im driving. I got really good at driving and changing gears in stop/go traffic while i use my usb car charger to boil a small jug ive superglued to my dash board to make my noodles in and then eat before im at work. - this isnt a dig this knowledge passed down by a friend and what he use to do.compbatant wrote:There are periods when I am working from morning till late night forgetting about eating and other essential things and there are periods when I need to regenerate.
Yeah stuff happens. I hope whatever it is eventually comes right, we all get the bit of bad news or have to deal with something painful.compbatant wrote:Recently I had many things (not too nice) which i need to finish in my private life and don't have too much time to work and reading these posts with demands only annoys me.
The demanding posts though only come from people being in the dark. From not hearing anything about anything thats going on. We all know you do work. We just dont know where when or truly on what. A good idea could be to start a locked subforum where only you and admins, possibly mods could post to promote a bit of transparency in what it is thats going on. Again even if its just a coffee break. People will then "see" that theres cogs turning.
I dont know about others. But that line makes me cringe a bit. The wait has been long. The numerous posts on pvp have been huge. I know you say wait. But this has already all boiled over once. It will do so again.compbatant wrote:If you calm down you will get changes which improve gameplay. Just wait for it.
Not being too horrible when i say this. But those inapp purchases would motivate me and thats just monetary. Shouldnt the love of creating a game also be a motivator along with seeing these demotivating posts about peoples experiences and thinking "I cant please everyoje but damn I want to change their minds and try to make their experiences with X issue better" ...?compbatant wrote:The pots you send instead of motivating me they work totally vice versa for me.
Sometimes minor nerfs are required when other classes cant be buffed to meet the insanity of power. No one thing will make everyone happy. But justice or a court system doesnt make everyone happy either. The most anyone can do is try to do as much right as they can. If you think people are saying otherwise, ask them "what am i doing wrong. What havent i fixed that i should get onto?" If you were asking me this for instance i would say pvp. So would a few others. Theres no such thing as perfect balance but 'near enough' would make most happy and do them all a little justice.compbatant wrote:Remember also that there is no wonderful formula which will make everybody happy. The formulas were already changed and adjusted few times during game life. Don't forget about it. Every time the formulas become more balanced there were angry players because their overpowered characters became weaker.
Woot.compbatant wrote:PS.
Soon I will add to few high level armors and shields some protection against spells which should help in PVP.
